Bondi Meets Berry: Bondi Liquor Co Teams Up With The Treat Factory
Two proudly Australian, family-run makers have joined forces this winter. Bondi Liquor Co has partnered with The Treat Factory, the beloved fourth-generation confectioner based in Old Creamery Lane, Berry, on the NSW South Coast, to create a new addition to our Winter Special menu: the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini.
A Collaboration Built on Craft
The Treat Factory has been hand-making gourmet condiments, old-fashioned confectionery, and small-batch chocolates for four generations. Their Salted Caramel Syrup - a buttery, sticky-sweet blend of sugar, golden syrup, salt, and lemon juice, made with no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives - has become a favourite with baristas and cafes across the country.
For Bondi Liquor Co, pairing that syrup with our own small-batch Coffee Vodka was an easy decision. Both brands share the same philosophy: quality ingredients, honest production, and a proud "made in Australia" story - theirs from the Shoalhaven coast, ours distilled in-house in Sydney.
Introducing the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini
The result is a cocktail that's dessert and drink in one glass:
- 15ml Salted Caramel syrup The Treat Factory
- 20 ml Espresso
- 15ml Coffee Vodka
- 45ml Bondi Vodka
Shaken hard over ice and double strained, it's finished with a pinch of sea salt over the crema - rich, silky, and unmistakably salted caramel. It joins two other new additions on our Winter Special menu, the Irish Cinnamon Coffee & Cold Foam and the Martini Matcha, all available now at the bar or made at home with Bondi Liquor Co spirits.
Why the Partnership Makes Sense
Bondi Liquor Co was founded as Bondi Beach's first operating distillery, and remains 100% Australian-owned, producing small-batch gin and vodka with clean, sustainable ingredients. The Treat Factory has built its reputation the same way - by hand, in small batches, with real ingredients and no shortcuts. Bringing the two together for a single cocktail felt like a natural fit: a Sydney coastal spirit brand and a South Coast confectionery institution, both built on craftsmanship rather than shortcuts.
